Ruth Swallow

Hi! I’m Ruth Swallow. I am 22 and currently in my fourth and final year of studying for a MSci in Biochemistry at the University of Manchester. 

When I’m not studying I am supervising a bar and telling black out drunk 18 year olds that no they are not allowed another jäger bomb after you just threw up down the bar. Anyway, I started this blog as a platform to put forward my two cents when it comes to topical issues surrounding science whether or not they are widely covered in the media. It is so important that science is communicated in an accessible way and also the overarching nature of science to all our daily lives.
